HSSO opens their 2026 season with a program full of exotic and exciting music from Eastern Europe, including Liszt’s First Piano Concerto performed by Channing Chu!

HSSO returns to Castle Hill’s Pioneer Theatre to bring the magical world of Disney to life, playing music from Disney movies such as The Lion King, Frozen, Encanto, Aladdin, and more!

Kara Thorpe joins the HSSO to perform Carl Reinecke’s Flute Concerto, in a program celebrating the awe and majesty of the German landscape!

HSSO concludes 2026 with an all-English program centred around Edward Elgar’s colossal Violin Concerto, performed by young virtuoso Tim Li!

The Hills Shire Symphony Orchestra is a not-for-profit community orchestra, made up of roughly 50 musicians ranging from 13 to 70+ years of age. It delivers 4 subscription concerts per year in the Hills Shire, with the aim of providing high-quality live classical music to local residents.
